Protest at Bahrain Embassy in D.C. - Part 1/3

Washington- DC: July 9th 2007.

Americans for Democracy and Human Rights in Bahrain (ADRHB) held a protesting demonstration and a sit-in in front of the Bahrain Embassy in Washington DC calling for the respect of human rights and popular demands for democratization in Bahrain.

The demonstrators hailed some slogans, denouncing dictatorship, tyranny and violations of human rights. They held banners and posters affirming these demands and chanted to the change of the current regime to a truly democratic one, governed by popular progressive constitution.

عقدت الجمعية الامريكية للديموقراطية وحقوق الإنسان في البحرين مسيرة واعتصاماً احتجاجياً أمام سفارة البحرين في العاصمة الأمريكية – واشنطن، دعت لإحترام حقوق الإنسان والمطالب الشعبية بالدمقرطة في البحرين.

وقد ردد المشاركون شعارات شجبوا فيها الدكتاتورية والاستبداد وانتهاك حقوق الإنسان. كما رفعوا بوسترات تؤكد هذه الشعارات وطالبوا بتغير النظام الحالي الى نظام ديمقراطي حقيقي يحكمه دستور شعبي وتقدمي.
